Yoga Therapy: Physical, Mental and Spiritual Triangle

Yoga Therapy Moves into Fields Where Modern Science Fails

Yoga therapy has been recognized as a very effective alternative to modern medicine. Many ailments that do not have a direct and complete cure in modern science have been successfully treated with yoga therapy. Many people become die-hard fans of yoga after they experience tangible changes that this therapy can bring about both in mind and body.

Yoga Therapy is Based on the Physical, Mental and Spiritual Triangle

Yoga is a wonderful tool, with which you can take a look inside yourself and then reach out for help and correct all the flaws that you see. It is important that you have a very good 'guru' (teacher) when you go into yoga therapy because you will need to be guided well when you start the journey. If the beginning of the trip is good, then the rest will be successful.

Yoga therapy is what will meet you right where you are, then take hold of your hand, and lead you out in the light. In the meantime, you will find that you are climbing definite steps towards a clearer mind, lighter body and an overall well-being feeling that you cannot explain to yourself. This is the power of yoga.

Yoga therapy is also known to be highly beneficial in terminal cancer, blood pressure ailments, heart problems, reduces varicose veins and improves circulation of blood, corrects bad body posture, improves muscle and joint flexibility, build bone, relieves and cures painful ailments like arthritis, back pain and is able to decompress the spine.

Among others, yoga therapy can also treat infertility successfully, regulate the side effects of menopause, regulate periods and reduce or even eliminate menstrual abdomen pain, improves capacity of lungs, improves asthma conditions, reduces sinusitis, controls acidity, helps digestion, help in clearing and regulating movement of bowels.

The above list is by no means exhaustive. There are new fields accepted by modern medicine every day. Yoga, as the yogis (those who practice yoga) in India would tell you can cure any ailment that affects the human body. You can understand the yogic power when you learn about the feats the yogis do on a regular basis.

The self-Samadhi for example is the process where a yogi enters a lifelessness state and is buried completely in the earth making a Samadhi for a pre-arranged period of time (say, two days to two months). At the appointed time, the yogi will emerge out of his temporary abode totally unscathed and as full of energy as he had gone in.

If that is not wonderful, what is?
