Green Tea Pills

Green tea is widely known around the globe for its many benefits to the human body. Some reports are confirmed with studies and research while others are merely agreed upon from the result of usage during thousands of years. Who wouldn't want at least a small amount of green tea in their diet after seeing all the good things it can do.

Some of the most popularreasons for intake of green tea is to help in the following areas:

Dental health Prevention or slow-down in progression of cancers Increasing the metabolism Suppressing the appetite Prevention of liver damage High cholesterol Rheumatoid arthritis Cardiovascular disease Increasing function of the immune system Increase of energy

Green tea usually is taken as a beverage and drank either hot or cold. The green tea leaves are fresh and steeped in boiling water, rendering the great qualities that make it so popular globally. However, studies have shown that with most of these conditions, regular consumption of rather large quantities of the tea taken on a daily basis is what appeared to be most effective. While some people live on green tea and others enjoy it immensely and have no problem drinking large amounts of the tea, there is a percentage of people who do not either do not care for the taste of green tea or can not handle drinking that much of it.

With there being a demand for it, green tea is available in powder form, pressed into a tablet form or added into a capsule. Taking the green tea in as a pill form allows the benefits to be ingested in the body as a supplement. Pure green tea supplements can be found in a health foods store or with an herbalist. Some popular supplement products containing green tea appear to be the following:

Green Tea Extract pills from Source Naturals Mega Green Tea Extractfrom Life Extensions EGCG, Green Tea Extract from Now Foods Natural Green Tea Extract with EGCG capsules from Natures Bounty Liquid Herbal Green Tea Extract from Herb Pharm Standardized Green Tea Extract Capsules from Nature's Way Decaffeinated Green Tea Extract Capsules from Pure Encapsulations

Many of the green tea products today are combined with other products, be sure what is purchased is what one intends to consume. Some formations have ingredients simply to make capsules. Most green teas in the world are grown in China or Japan, so be leery of a product that has come from elsewhere, it may not be true green tea. Some unethical companies may produce a product made with black tea but sell it off as green tea. This will not provide the same effects, while black tea has its own benefits, green tea is the only tea that carries all of these wonderful effects.

Also, taking any medications, altering one diet, intake of vitamins or supplements should be monitored by one's own physician and discussed before change is made. Notifying the physician before hand can be sure the product will not cause an interaction or adverse effect to current medicines or treatments.
