Daily intake of green tea has been sharing the health spotlight lately for all the numerous ways it can help one's body. Green Tea seems to hold the magic everyone is looking for answers to.

Green tea differs from its relations, the black and oolong teas, by being the fresh leaved version of the same originating shrub. Green tea leaves are only steamed rather than fermented like the black and oolong teas. Green tea is first to be noted in ancient China, cultivated and used as a beverage later on noting its healing powers. Green tea has been the only one of the three teas to contain so many medical benefits. The green tea leaves come from the Camellia sinensis shrub, the very youngest leaves and leaf buds are plucked. The leaves are dried completely and then they are steamed briskly. They undergo a drying procedure again and then are ready for using at a person's home. Black tea starts out by getting the youngest leaves and leaf buds plucked, but undergo hand-crushing, allowed to sit for a few days and then they are dried and packaged for sale. Oolong tea have the same sections cut as the others, then they are immediately dried in the sun for nearly an hour, they are brought indoors to sit and every hour they are stirred up until the edges show red, then they are dried completely and are ready for brewing.

One area out of many that green tea can be beneficial is through aiding the body to reduce weight. Realistically there are only two ways in which to lose fat storage. A person would have to decrease caloric intake or increase their activity level, or both together. This is where green tea comes in to save the day. Green tea has been proven to make losing weight much easier to accomplish and continue to do. Green tea helps boost the metabolism, helpsexpel fat, burns fat through a thermogenic effect on the body, regulates the blood sugar and maintains energy levels to make performing needed exercise easier to get through. To gain the benefits from green tea, it is amazingly simple. Prepare green by steeping whole leaves in boiling water until the desirable color, enjoy at least one cup of green tea with every meal on a daily basis. Increasing the amount of tea intake will only help to assist the body further. Taking more than ten cups in a day is not recommended, it has not shown any further benefits. If green tea is not a suitable beverage for a person's palate, green tea can be purchased in liquid drop form or in supplement form. These other options allow a person to get the same benefits as that of a person consuming daily cups of green tea. As wells as helping to lose weight, green tea has known to help with heart disease, mental disease, cancers, immune systems, digestive and intestinal systems, tooth decay, hair and scalp problems, among many, many more.
